Herbert K. Tay has served automotive clients in North America, Europe, Japan, China and Korea over a successful consulting career spanning over 20 years. Prior to forming Herbert Tay Associates, Inc., he led A.T. Kearney’s U.S. West Coast automotive consulting practice, as well as consulted with McKinsey & Company, Inc. for several years as an Engagement Manager.

Herbert K. Tay is the author of several thought-provoking articles on the automotive industry published in Strategy & Leadership and elsewhere. He has been quoted in Automotive News, Los Angeles Times, and other journals.

Herbert K. Tay holds MBA and Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) degrees from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and the University of Adelaide respectively.
